Each year the MAHLE FOUNDATION supports approximately 150 projects worldwide. In doing so, it works in accordance with the central idea of "Donate today - with the vision for tomorrow": The aim is to enable a better future by supporting innovative projects.

The work of the MAHLE FOUNDATION is made possible by the economic success of the MAHLE Group, whose founders Hermann and Dr. Ernst Mahle transferred their company shares in 1964 to the non-profit Foundation. Since then, the combination of economic success and social responsibility has shaped the work of the Group and Foundation.
The MAHLE FOUNDATION and Anthroposophy
Appreciation and a sense of responsibility towards people, the environment and nature - these leitmotifs of anthroposophical thinking and action also represent the basis for the work of the MAHLE FOUNDATION. The aim is to further the implementation of forward-looking new ideas and projects in order to achieve sustainable social progress.
